A very good friend lost her closest friend in a freak car accident (we all studied together). A guy just skipped the red traffic light and took her car out. Her husband came onto the scene of the accident a couple of minutes after it happened. Just a block or two from home. It has freaked me out totally. Life is so fragile and our loved ones so precious.
How awful. I know how close this touches your heart from your own experience. Your friend will benefit from your empathy and support as she grieves and comes to terms with this tragedy.
